Fairtrade Fortnight – Week Two Highlights

Week two brought us various activities including the Fairtrade stall, a debate, and Fairtrade games, and we had the judging of the three competitions! Year 7, 8 and 9 forms worked hard on their coffee mug designs to promote the theme of ‘It’s time to put Fairtrade in your break’, which are now displayed in the Refectory. The winner is yet to be announced! Well done to Toby Meynell in 8P, whose culinary efforts won the bake a Fairtrade brownie, cookie or cake competition, and to Petur Benedikz in 7H, who was the runner up. Alex Oliver, Sam Balderstone and Joseph Simmonite in 7H formed an unbeatable team and won the competition to ‘produce a 1-minute movie about Fairtrade’. Second place went to Theo Francis (7H), and Max Aldren and Eathan French (7H) came in third. Watch the winning video on our Twitter feed https://twitter.com/Ermysteds/status/842662027831267328
