It’s been a busy term so far for our talented musicians. As well as performing in the school concert last week, Ermysted’s Swing Band was invited to perform at Hetton Chapel on Friday to raise money for the Skipton branch of Bloodwise (formerly known as Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research). The concert was very well received and raised in excess of £700 for the charity. The band followed this up by a public performance at ‘The Platform’ in Morecambe on Tuesday for their lunchtime public concert series. Again, they performed excellently. They are due to play at the Addingham Gala on Saturday 8th July, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Other musicians will play for ‘Gardens in Gargrave’ on 10th June.
